Dear Diary

"I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us — don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!"

Emily Dickinson, they say, wrote
that poem and more for the drawer;
like a diary, she was lockable
and secret, but now

we touch-of-a-button publish
any trivial or revealing
thought in a WorldWideWeb log --

like Oscar Wilde, we keep a diary
to have something scandalous to read
on the cyber-train.

There is no bog
of admiring readers, only the Blog
and a hell of a lot
of writers croaking their name,
I suspect.

Well, I'm in the same boat as you : a dyslexic anagram lover wondering if blogging is all it's cracked up to be

I like this blogging format though and may copy it. Who knows what it will turn up? If it can produce tidbits like "she was lockable and secret" then maybe it will lead to something.

good luck Aisha

So here is where you are Hiding. My blog is mainly about poetry and Unart, not so good at daily posts as in a diary, but blogging is fine.
I'll link you to mine. Here0s mine:
