Winter Sun on Rye Road
Happy New Year...with this from the very end of last year, taken with my throw-away camera but I like it anyway -- the picnic table waits even more eagerly for summer this week, swimming in a snow-drift.

It won't be long and that pretty little birch tree will be green, greener, then making that pool of gold you've described so well.

Hey, not bad for a throwaway camera. Looking forward to seeing this scene with mine own eyes! ;-)
Oh yes, the November dancer poem.
Thanks, Jerry.

We can form a waiting line outside the door :).
Btw, it will be warmer in August than that scene you captured so well, won't it???!!!
Helm.
what great refractions, Shister. There will be more than one armed with a camera next summer:-)
Some stranger in cyberspace has a post on his blog about how cool it is to look out your window because I know I posted one somewhere.
Enjoyed the pic very much.
Helm, Paula and Carol S,
Soon you will look out of it for real...
Maybe I will bring a throw-away camera up North? The digital ones give me performance anxiety!

I love this picture but I love your plog rendition better.
By the way, it's almost Lent!
YESSSSSSSSSS!
At last!
Lent, when NUNS are resurrected (hmmm, sounds a bit heretic, but you know what I mean! See blog post above, 6 Feb.)
Thank oyu for the nice comments, Sister Laurie :)
