Winter Sun on Rye Road

Happy New Year...with this from the very end of last year, taken with my throw-away camera but I like it anyway -- the picnic table waits even more eagerly for summer this week, swimming in a snow-drift.

It won't be long and that pretty little birch tree will be green, greener, then making that pool of gold you've described so well.

Hey, not bad for a throwaway camera. Looking forward to seeing this scene with mine own eyes! ;-)

Some stranger in cyberspace has a post on his blog about how cool it is to look out your window because I know I posted one somewhere.

Helm, Paula and Carol S,
Soon you will look out of it for real...
Maybe I will bring a throw-away camera up North? The digital ones give me performance anxiety!
